• International Guidelines for Exposure to Radio Waves: The ION 1200 series includes a
radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to RF
radiation specified in ICNIRP guidelines that were devised to include a substantial safety
margin to ensure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.
The World Health Organization has stated that current scientific information does not
indicate a need for special precautions for wireless devices. They also recommend that
further exposure reductions are possible by orienting antennas away from personnel or by
increasing the separation distance.
