Using the Telephone
Speakerphone allows you to talk to your caller without holding the handset and allows
other persons in the room to listen to the conversation.
• For best performance, please note the following:
- Talk alternately with the caller in a quiet environment.
- If either party has difficulty hearing, press NAVIGATOR KEY up or down to change
the volume accordingly. The choices for the speakerphone volume are 8 levels for the
base unit.
Muting Your Conversation
During a call, you can mute your phone so the other party cannot hear you, but you can
hear them.

Press SPEAKERPHONE.
(During a call)
Press LEFT SOFT
KEY, then Icon
flashes.
Press once again.
Icon stops flashing.
(During a call)
Press MUTE. Press MUTE once again.
