1 Set the mode dial to [ ].
2 Select the menu. (P24)
The operation for changing the aperture value, shutter speed or ISO sensitivity is the
same as the operation for setting the mode dial to , , or .
3 Press the motion picture button (or shutter button) to start recording.
When [Exposure Mode] is set to [M], [AUTO] of the ISO sensitivity will switch to [125].
4 Stop the recording by pressing the motion picture button (or shutter button)
again.
Slow motion pictures
Set a frame rate that provides more frames than the recording frame rate in [Rec Quality]
does.
Example: If you set [FHD/100M/24p] to [48fps] and record a motion picture, a slow motion
effect of 1/2 can be gained.
Quick motion pictures
Set a frame rate that provides less frames than the recording frame rate in [Rec Quality]
does.
Example: If you set [FHD/100M/24p] to [12fps] and record a motion picture, a quick motion
effect of 2k can be gained.
1 Set the mode dial to [ ].
2 Select an item that supports [Variable Frame Rate]. (P42)
[MP4] does not support [Variable Frame Rate].
Items available for recording with a [Variable Frame Rate] are indicated as [VFR available]
on the screen.
3 Select the menu. (P24)
Recording motion pictures with manually set aperture value/shutter
speed/ISO sensitivity ([Exposure Mode])
> [Motion Picture] > [Exposure Mode] > [P]/[A]/[S]/[M]
Recording in Slow or Quick motion ([Variable Frame Rate])
> [Motion Picture] > [Rec Format]
> [Motion Picture] > [Rec Quality]
> [Motion Picture] > [Variable Frame Rate] > [ON]
