Advanced (Recording pictures)
When you set the recording quality to [ ], [ ] or [ ], we recommend using a high-speed
card with “10MB/s” or greater displayed on the package.

to select [REC QUALITY] and then press

Press 3/4 to select the item and then press
[MENU/SET].
[ ] can be enjoyed on the TV as high quality motion picture by using the component
cable (DMW-HDC2; optional). Refer to
Playing back on the TV with component socket
(P148) for details.
¢Cannot be recorded in the built-in memory.
Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.
You can also press the shutter button halfway to close the menu.
About focusing
When [CONTINUOUS AF] (P101) is set to [ON], and you focus on a subject, the camera
will maintains focus on that subject. To fix the focus position when beginning to record a
motion picture, set to [OFF].

Press [MENU/SET].
