4.5. Removal of Iron Weight (For
model NI-100DX)
Step 1 Remove 3 screws indicated and lift the iron weight.
4.6. Removal of Rating Plate
Step 1 Remove 2 screws indicated and pull backward.
4.7. Removal of Cover Shell, Han-
dle and Lamp Cover
Caution: The cover shell, handle and lamp cover are not
required to be removed unless they are defective.
Step 1 Remove 3 screws indicated and lift the handle. After
remove the cover from the handle, the lamp cover can be
removed from the handle by pressing the lamp cover.
5 Reassembly Instructions
• Reassemble the parts in the reverse order of disassem-
bly.
5.1. Mounting of Thermostat.
Step 1 Tighten each screw firmly. It should be especially fol-
lowed for the thermostat. If the screws are not properly tighten,
it may cause temperature failure.
Caution: Set the thermostat stopper as shown. If setting is
wrong, it may cause a temperature failure.
5.2. Mounting of Joint Plate
Step 1 Be sure to mount the Joint Plate to a thermostat axis
without fail. The dial knob cannot be mounted without this part.
