‘Important: If the remote control POWER, ACTION, PROG, CHA/T, INDEX/ M/A SKIP, NUMBERED keys,
INPUT, TAPE POSITION, or ADD/DLT button does not work when pressed, press the VCR button
on the remote and try the button again.

If you use a DSS receiver, it must be turned off.
If displayed time and DST are incorrect...
If you use cable box and receive more than one PBS station, try auto clock set again
entering the one you have not tried yet. (See “Clock” on page 42.)
If you happen to live close to two time zones, VCR may have recognized PBS channel (setting channel)
in the wrong time zone. Please do the following to correct the situation.
1) M ake a note of SETTING : CH number shown on screen and press CHA to exit.
2) D elete the channel from VCR memory. (See “Add or Delete a Channel” on page 43.)
3) P ress ACTION to display the menu.
4) Press AT to select “SET CLOCK,” and then press ► to display the SET CLOCK screen.
5) Press AT and ► to select and set “AUTO CLOCK SET.”
6) F ollow One Time VCR Setup instructions on page 8~11.
• If you use cable box and have multiple PBS stations, tune cable box to a different PBS station and try
auto clock set using the menu.
