(18) Power Switch
Power is switched on when this sw i tch is pressed. The
powe r indicator LED will light .
The
mut i ng circu it operates to protect the dev i ce con -
nected to the output from damage by cli ck noise.
The mixer is ready for use about 5 or 6 seconds after
switching power on .
(19) Phantom Power Switch
The power sw i tch for condenser microp h ones to
sw i tch DC 48 V on and off .
Be sure to use a balanced type condenser microphone
because DC + 48 V is applied to Pin 2 (hot) and pin
3 (cold) of the mi crophone connector, and DC 0 V to
pin 1 (GND) (Common).
Before turn ing this switch on or off, be sure to shift
each output fader to the minimum position to prevent
click noise.
