To record of your ‘‘KARAOKE” performance:
Start recording in deck 2, then start "KARAOKE" performance.
To playback the tape recorded in "KARAOKE" mode, press
KARAOKE so that the KARAOKE indicator goes out.
You cannot record in “KARAOKE” mode using:
• a tone quaUty effect (HALL, HEAVY, CLEAR, MANUAL
ACOUSTIC IMAGE EQ and V.BASS effect)
•a radio source (including television)
•DOLBY PRO LOGIC mode (SURROUND, 3 STEREO)
•3D PRESENCE mode (For SC-EH60)
When using the V. MUTE {Voice Mute) function
Always use software recorded in stereo. Voice mute may not function
sufficiently or noise may interfere when using the following soft¬
ware.
•Monoaural software
•Software with few musical instruments, including classic music and
poetry recitations
•Software with duets or strong choruses
To record your voice:
1. Connect the microphone(s) to the MIC jack(s).
2. Press INPUT SELECTOR to select 'TAPE".
3. Adjust the microphone volume level.
4. Press • REC PAUSE to put the cassette deck into the re¬
cording standby mode.
5. Press < or > to start recording.
6. Speak into the microphonefs).

Using the Echo Effect El
Press ECHO.
Each time the button is pressed, the effect will change as follows.
ECHO 1-*ECH02-*ECH03-»ECH04

Echo levels from ECHO 1 to ECHO 4 can be selected,
This feature is convenient when you have a telephone call, etc.
Press MUTING.
"MUTING" will light.
Sound remains muted when you put the stereo on standby.
To cancel, press MUTING once again. ("MUTING" goes out.)
To cancel from the tuner/amplifier, reduce the volume level to the
minimum position (— dB) and then reset to the desired volume.
