Why are all the indicators turned OFF on my Panasonic Safety Equipment?
    • T
      tamaramoranJul 28, 2025
The indicators might be off due to several reasons. First, ensure that the power supply capacity is sufficient and connected correctly. Second, verify that the supply voltage is within the specified range and set correctly. Finally, check that the connector is securely connected.

What does it mean if the test indicator (orange) lights up on Panasonic Safety Equipment?
    • A
      Andrea PachecoAug 11, 2025
If the test indicator (orange) is lit, it could mean the test state is activated due to an error or interlock setting error; check the number shown in the digital indicator. If auto reset was selected with the test / reset input wire (pink) open, then, using PNP output, connect the test / reset input wire (pink) to + V (brown); or, using NPN output, connect the test / reset input wire (pink) to 0V (blue). Alternatively, if manual reset was selected with the test / reset input wire (pink) connected to 0V or +V, open the test / reset input wire (pink).

How to fix upper and lower application indicators that light red or are OFF on Panasonic Safety Equipment?
    • M
      Michael BrownAug 20, 2025
If the upper and lower application indicators light red or are off, it may be due to beam axes misalignment. Perform beam axis adjustment and align the upper and lower directions between the emitter and receiver. It could also be a synchronization + wire (orange) or synchronization - wire (orange / black) error; in that case, correctly connect the synchronization + wire (orange) and synchronization - wire (orange / black).

What to do if the digital indicator shows a blinking or steadily lit yellow number on Panasonic Safety Equipment?
    • R
      Robert BennettNov 4, 2025
A blinking or steadily lit yellow number on the digital indicator can indicate several issues. If you're using the communication module SF4D-TM1 and Configurator Light Curtain software, initialize the function. Ensure the number of sensors in series connection is limited to 5 or less, and the total number of beam channels is 256 or less. Verify that emitters are connected to emitters and receivers to receivers using a series connection cable. Make sure all DIP switches 1 / 2 (synchronization method) are set to the same state and the end cap is installed correctly. Check that the cable for series connection is connected correctly, and replace it if necessary. Also, check the operation of other sensors in series connection. Finally, ensure the beam pitch, number of sensors, and number of bea...
