Create a startup file on a USB Drive for “A” board replacement or hotel data:

The USB Drive is now ready to be used to obtain data from the TV.
1. Connect a blank USB Drive to your PC.
2. Click on the drive designated for the USB Drive, if it doesn’t
open automatically.
3. Right-click on the USB Drive window and point to “New”.
4. Then click “Text document”.
5. A new file named “New Text Document.txt” is created.
6. Right-click the new text document that you just created and
select “Rename”.
7. Then change the name and extension of the “New Text
Document.txt” file to
• “boardreplace.pwd” for board replacement and
• “hotel.pwd” for hotel data
then click “yes” when the rename screen appears.
