CONNECTIONS
Connect
the
interface
plug
to

specif
ied AV
Mixer
after
turning
the
power on.
When
this
is
done,
ihe
equipment
starts
to operate
as
follows
:
1.
"Character
Generator"
is
displayed
on
the
screen
for
two
seconds.
2.
Battery
status
and
backup
memories
are displayed
for
two
seconds.
3.
The
equipment
runs
in
the
mode
selected
by
mode
selection
switch
(85)
BATTERY
OK
MEMOFY

Replace
the
batteries
when
displayed
"BATTERY
WABNING'
or
"BATTERY
EMPTY'
on
the
screen
2.
MODE
SELECTION
Set
the
mode
selection
switch
(85) to either
the
INPUT
or
OUTPUT
mode.
INPUT
MODE:
This
mode
is
intended
for
causing
the
title
to
input'
When
the
switch
is set
to
the
INPUT
mode,
the title
input
job
queue
state
is selected.
OUTPUT
MODE:
This
mode
is
intended
for causing
the
title
to
aooear
on
Ine
screen.
When
the switch
is
set
to
the
OUTPUT
mode,
standby
state
of title
display
is selected.
When
this
switch
changed
over,
the
displayed
page
remains
unchanged.
For
details
of
page
selection
and setting,
refer
to
Chapter
4-3
and
5-'1
,
respectively.
To
change
over
the
mode
selection
swiich
to
the INPUT
mode
from
the
OUTPUT
mode
during
Roll,
Crawl,
Date,
Time,
or
Stopwatch
display
or
during
operation,
bring
the
operation
to
an
end
and
place
the
unit
in the
standby
mode,
after
which
the
mode
should
be
changed
over
to
the
INPUT
mode.
Similarly
to
change
over
the
mode
selection
switch
to
the
OUTPUT
mode
from
the
INPUT
mode,
bring
the
operation
to
an
end,
after
the
mode
should
be
changed
over to
the
OUTPUT
mode,
