The device also supports email integration for sending scanned documents directly, and features for creating address books and filing profiles to streamline document distribution and storage.
* **Physical Connection:** Connects to the network via an Ethernet cable and to power via a power cord. The device is powered on by pressing the power button.

* **ADF Feeding:** For multiple pages, place documents face up in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
* **Flatbed Feeding:** For single pages or delicate items, place the document face down on the flatbed scanner.
* Once a document is placed, use the control panel to initiate the sending process. The control panel includes numerical buttons (1-9) and function buttons for various operations.
