INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Hold grinder by the bottom (B) and turn the top (A) counterclockwise. Separate the top (A)
from the bottom (B). Remove the motor (C) from the top (A) by pressing on the power button
(G).
2. Remove the protective sleeve (D) and place 4 AA batteries in the recesses with the correct
polarity.
3. Place the protective sleeve back over the batteries to keep them from falling out during
operation.
4. Fill the chamber with peppercorns or salt crystals through the opening in the base (B).
5. Carefully connect the motor to the bottom base on the contact points (E) and (F).
6. In order to close the grinder, place the top cover (A) over the motor (C) from above and
connect it to the threading openings on the bottom base (B).
7. Hold the two parts -- A and B -- tightly together and turn the top (A) clockwise.
8. Press the power button (G) to engage the electric grinder.
9. With the adjustment screw (H) on the bottom of the grinder, you can adjust the size of the
material from ‘fine’ to ‘coarse.’Turn clockwise for a finer grind and counterclockwise for a
coarser grind.
10. Keep grinders away from dampness and excessive heat to keep material from getting
moist.
CLOG PREVENTION
In some rare instances, your grinder might get clogged with residue from peppercorns or sea
salt crystals. If this happens, flip your mill-grinder side-up and turn the adjustment knob (H)
counterclockwise until you feel a slight resistance (you cannot completely remove the adjust-
ment knob), then push the residue downward using a pointed object to clear the grinder area.
Once clean, turn the adjustment knob clockwise back to your desired grind level.
CLEANING AND CARE
Wipe the outside of the mill with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the mill in water. Store in
a dry place.
SAFETY NOTES
1. Please replace batteries when they are dead. Do not leave them in the mill, as they can
damage the device.
2. When batteries need replacing, change all four batteries at once. DO NOT mix old and new
batteries.
3. Use alkaline batteries for optimum performance.
4. Batteries must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance
with state and federal regulations.
8. This product is not suitable for use by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental
capabilities (including children) unless they are supervised by a person familiar with proper
use who is responsible for their safety.
9. This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it, as personal injury or
breakage of the product could occur.
