If the power cable for this equip-
ment is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, a cus-
tomer service agent of the same
or a similarly qualifi ed person in
order to prevent hazards.
Additional safety instruc-
tions
- Suitable for indoor use only.
- Do not attempt to charge non-
rechargeable batteries.
- The housing must under no
circumstances be opened. The
mains unit must not continue to
be used if the housing is dama-
ged.
- Lithium-ion batteries should only
be charged within the ambient
temperature range stipulated in
the instruction manual. Charging
at very low temperatures (e.g.
under 0˚C) or very high tempe-
ratures (e.g. above 45˚C) can
lead to major safety issues with
the battery.
- Do not mount the charger to the
wall.
Charging the battery
Do not expose the battery to
extreme conditions such as
heat or impact. Risk of injury
from escaping electrolytic so-
lution! After eye/skin contact,
rinse the affected areas with
water or a neutraliser and
consult a doctor.
Charge the battery in a dry room
only.
There is a risk of injury due to elec-
tric shock.
Only use the original charger from
the package to charge the battery.
The device may only be powered
with SELV (Safety Extra Low Volt-
age) as marked on the device.
Charge the battery before the fi rst
time of use.
Always take heed of the applicable
safety instructions as well as the en-
vironmental protection regulations
and information.
The warranty excludes all defects
caused by improper handling.
Recharging the battery
1. Connect the USB charging cable
(
11.2) to the charging socket (
11.3) of the mains plug..
2. Connect the charger plug to the
charging socket (
6) of the de-
vice.
3. Plug the battery charger (
11)
into a mains outlet.
4. When the battery is fully re-
charged unplug the battery
charger (
11) from the mains.
The charge state indicator (
5) lights up.

2 LEDs are on (red, yellow):
Battery partially charged
1 LED is on (red):
Battery needs to be charged
