This document describes the LED work light with power bank function, model number IAN 374070_2104, manufactured by OWIM GmbH & Co. KG.
Function Description
The device is a versatile LED work light that also functions as a power bank. It is designed for normal use in dry indoor locations or outdoor areas without electrical connection. It is suitable for use in storerooms or camping sites. The product is not intended for commercial use or other applications. It is not suitable for household room illumination.
As an LED work light, it offers two white light settings (bright and dim) and a red light setting. It can be adjusted to various positions thanks to its adjustable foot/handle and magnetic base. The light can be rotated 270 degrees and the entire unit can be rotated 360 degrees.
As a power bank, it can charge small electronic devices via its USB port (Type C). The integrated rechargeable battery provides power for both the light and the charging function.

- Protection Class: III (low voltage).
- Protection Type: IP44 (splash-proof). This means it is protected against solid objects larger than 1 mm and against splashing water from all directions. When used as a power bank, it is only for indoor use. The USB cable (item 10) is for indoor use only.
- USB Input Voltage/Current: 5 V ⎓, 1 A.
- USB Output Voltage/Current: 5 V ⎓, 1 A.
- Operating Position: The product can be used as shown in figures C and D.
Usage Features
The device has an ON/OFF switch (item 2) that also controls the light modes.
- Press 1x: 2 white lights light up (bright).
- Press 2x: 1 white light lights up (dim).
- Press 3x: 1 white light lights up (dim).
- Press 4x: Switch off the light.
The adjustable foot/handle (item 4) allows the light to be positioned at various angles. It can be rotated 270 degrees. The entire unit can be rotated 360 degrees. The magnetic base (item 5) allows the light to be attached to ferromagnetic surfaces.
To use the power bank function, connect a small electronic device to the USB output socket (item 8) using the provided USB cable (item 10) or a suitable USB cable. The charging indicator (item 6) shows the battery status.
Charging the product:
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Connect the USB cable (item 10) to the USB input socket (item 9) on the device and to a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The charging process takes approximately 6.5 hours for a fully discharged battery.
- The charging indicator (item 6) will show the charging status:
- 1 LED lights up: 0-33% charged.
- 1 LED lights up, 1 LED flashes: 34-65% charged.
- 2 LEDs light up, 1 LED flashes: 66-99% charged.
- 3 LEDs light up: 100% charged.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the USB cable.
Safety Instructions:
- Always read the entire manual before use.
- Keep children away from packaging materials.
- This product can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children must not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
- The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children.
- Do not use the product if there are visible damages.
- Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
- Only connect the product to a properly installed USB socket.
- Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the product yourself. LEDs cannot and must not be replaced.
- The LEDs are not replaceable.
- If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the entire product must be replaced.
- DANGER OF BURNS! To prevent burns, verify that the product is switched off and has cooled down for at least 15 minutes before touching it. The product can become very hot.
- The accessible surface, especially the heat sink, is very hot when the lamp is operating.
- FIRE HAZARD! Fit the product so that it is at least 0.1 metre away from the material to be illuminated. Excessive heat can result in a fire.
- WARNING! Do not turn on the light when the product is facing down to a combustible surface. The exposed surface may be overheated or ignited.
- Do not place burning candles or open fire on or near the product.
- Do not use the product near heat sources such as radiators or devices emitting heat.
- Dispose of the product if product or USB cable (item 10) are damaged.
- Ensure the USB cable (item 10) cannot become damaged by sharp edges or hot objects.
- Unwind the USB cable completely before use.
- Immediately switch the product off and remove the charging cable from the product if you smell burning or see smoke. Have the product examined by a qualified technician before using it again.
- If you use a USB power supply, the socket used must always be easily accessible so that the USB power supply can be quickly removed from the socket in the case of emergency.
- Observe the usage restrictions and prohibitions of use for battery-operated products in situations which may be hazardous such as at petrol stations, airports, hospitals, etc.
- WARNING! Do not cover the product while charging. There is a risk of warming and overheating.
Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries:
- DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
- DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
- Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
- Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/rechargeable batteries.
- Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries:
- Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight.
- If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!
- WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
Maintenance Features
The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Before cleaning:
- Switch off the product.
- Disconnect the USB cable (item 10) from the USB socket.
- Close the protective cap (item 7) on the USB input socket (item 8) and USB output socket (item 9).
- Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
- Never use caustic cleaners.
- Regularly clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly moist cloth to remove any stubborn dirt.
