Function Description

The heating function offers two power settings, 1kW and 2kW, and includes a temperature control feature that automatically adjusts the heater to maintain a desired room temperature. The appliance also incorporates a sound function that simulates the crackling of firewood, with adjustable volume. A 7-day programmable timer allows users to schedule the fireplace's operation, controlling both flame effects and heating for specific periods throughout the week.

Usage Features

Installation: The appliance must be installed by a trained technician. It can be configured as a bay window, left-hand, right-hand, or front glass only, by adjusting blanking plates and side trims. Proper ventilation is crucial, requiring a minimum 10mm gap between the back of the appliance and the wall. The appliance should be located on a flat, level surface and secured using wall mounting brackets. It is important not to insulate or pack the appliance into its location, as air circulation is necessary for the heater and flame effect to function. The electrical socket must be easily accessible, or an isolation switch must be installed. Combustible materials and curtains should be kept at least 1 meter from the front of the fireplace.

Fuel Bed Setup: The ceramic logs and vermiculite fuel material are provided separately. The vermiculite should be spread evenly over the fuel bed, taking care not to drop any material into the appliance. The logs are fragile and should be handled with care, then positioned as shown in the model-specific arrangement diagrams. It is recommended to install the front trim before placing the logs to prevent material from falling into non-retrievable areas.

Controls: The iLéktro fireplace can be controlled via a remote handset or a mobile application ("ilektro" app).

Remote Control:

- Account: Register with email/mobile number and password. Agree to terms and conditions. Location access may be requested for device functionality.
- Light Functions: Change colour and brightness of flame, fuel bed, and downlight.
- Heat Function: Select 1kW or 2kW heat (H1/H2) or turn off (H0).
- Sound Function: Adjust volume of firewood crackling.
- Temperature Function: Set target room temperature for automatic heater control.
- 7-Day Programme: Schedule operation for flame picture only or flame picture and heating. Set specific times (on/off) and target temperatures for weekdays, weekends, or individual days. "Confirm" button must be pressed to save settings.

Maintenance Features

General Cleaning:

Always switch off the appliance from the isolation switch before cleaning or maintenance.
Clean the glass only when it is cold.
Do not use abrasive cleaners on any part of the appliance.
Use a lint-free cloth to wipe surfaces.
Do not spray cleaner into the appliance.
Regularly clean the air inlet grilles on the topside and back of the appliance with a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner nozzle to prevent dust build-up, which can inhibit fan performance and trigger the thermal cut-out.

Cleaning the Fuel Bed:

Ensure the appliance is switched off at the isolation switch.
Remove the front glass viewing panel (refer to servicing section for instructions).
Remove logs and dust clean them with a lint-free duster; do not wet the logs.
Lift all fuel medium out of the fire and wipe the fuel bed down.
Ensure no moisture remains before returning the logs.
Replace the front trim, glass, and fuel material carefully to prevent pieces from falling into the appliance.

Thermal Safety Cut Out: If the heater overheats, the safety cut-out will trip. To reset:

Switch off the device from the isolation switch and allow it to cool down for at least 2 hours.
Check heater outlet vents for obstructions and clear them if necessary.
Plug in the appliance and switch it on; the cut-out will reset, and the appliance should function normally. If not, contact the retailer.

Battery Replacement (Remote Control):

Slide open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
Install AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
Replace the battery cover.
Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations. Do not mix battery types, insert incorrectly, replace only some batteries, dispose of in fire, or attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Servicing:

Any servicing or repairs must be performed by a qualified electrician or service agent.
The appliance must be fully assembled, and the front glass with trim must be back in place before connecting to mains power.
The appliance is not under warranty if the glass window is installed incorrectly.
