Description
The PVM 480 is a permanently
polarized condenser
microphone utilizing advanced
back-electret technology to
achieve optimum performance.
The widely extended
flat frequency response
and excellent transient
characteristics ensure accurate
reproduction of almost any
type of sound.
Very good rejection of
unwanted sound and feedback
is afforded by the PVM 480’s
highly effective supercardioid
polar response. The unusual
frequency uniformity of this
pattern ensures minimal sound
coloration due to the acoustic
environment.
The electronic circuitry is
specially designed to provide
a high signal-to-noise figure
and clean reproduction of
high-level sounds, resulting in
a comfortably wide dynamic
range.
The PVM 480 will operate
properly with any phantom
power supply providing
between 9 and 52 volts.
