MAINTENANCE
Defrosting
Freezer section
After a period of time, some ice will form in the freezer. Remove this ice
regularly. You can use a plastic scraper for this purpose. For the freezer
to work as best as possible, you must defrost it completely if a layer of
ice forms which is 3-5 cm thick.
The day before you defrost, set the thermostat at its highest to
freeze the food in the freezer as deeply as possible.
Before defrosting, the food from the freezer must be wrapped
in several layers of blankets or newspaper and stored in a cool
place. The unavoidable temperature increase of the frozen food
will shorten the period it can be stored. Remember to eat this food
within a reasonable time.
Set the thermostat knob to “0” and switch the appliance off.
Leave the door open to speed up the defrosting process.
