Taking Still Pictures

For the simplest procedure to take still pictures.
The flash fires automatically depending on the light conditions.
1 Press the power switch.
The camera will turn on.
2 Set the mode dial to Q.
3 Confirm the subject and shooting
information on the LCD monitor.
The focus area in the middle of the LCD FocusArea
monitor indicates the zone of automatic
focusing. You can change the size of the subject by pressing the
Zoom button.
_, : makes the subject bigger.
_$$ : makes the subject smaller.
You can check the size of the subject by looking through the
viewfinder.
As there is no focus area in the viewfinder, be Sure to check the
focusing area on the LCD monitor.
