Raise
the
needle
and
remove
the
sewing
foot.
Put
the
rear
end
of
your
brush
under the
edge
of
the
needle
plate
and
lift
until
the
press
stud
snaps
out.
Turn
needle
plate
upside
down and
replace so
that
raised
portion
is
at
front
(see
illustration).
Press
down
stud,
thread
needle
with
embroidery
thread
or
darning
wool
and
lower
presser
bar
lifter.
Now
you
can
embroider
and
darn
without
presser
foot,
moving
the
work
freely
by
hand.
