rules

the
United
Kingdom
only
The
leads
must
definitely
not
be
connected
to
the
safety
load
terminal
I
nor
to
a
plug
with
three
pins.
The
wires
in
the
mains
lead
are
coloured
according
to
the
following
code:
Blue:
Neutral
Brown:
Live
As
the
colours
of
the
wires
in
the
mains
lead
of
this appliance
may
not
correspond
with
the
colour
coding
of
the
terminals
in
your
plug,
proceed
as
follows:
The
wire
which
is
coloured
blue
must
be
con
nected
to
the
terminal
which
is
marked
with
the
letter
N
or
coloured
black.
The
wire which
is
coloured
brown
must
be
connected
to
the
terminal
which
is
marked
with
the
letter
L
or
coloured
red.
Cut-off
mains
plugs
are
definitely
not
to
be
used,
but
disposed
of
immediately.
Defective
mains
leads
must
be
replaced
completely.
Only
3
A
spare
fuses
must
be
used
as
approved
by
ASTA
according
to
BS
1362
and
the
fuse
cover
must
be
marked
3
A
or
with
the
corresponding
colour
code.
The plug
must
never
be
used
without
fuse
cover.
Spare
fuse
covers
are
available
from
electrical
suppliers
or
the
PFAFF
agencies.
