Führen Sie den Wolifaden durch den
Stichlochausschnitt
des Stopfful3es
und
legen Sie
ihn
in die Fadenfuhrung

Der Faden liegt unter dem Stopiful3. Be
ginnen
Sie oben
links
und spannen
Sie
die Wollfäden quer über die Stopfstelle
(Abb. N).
Anschliel3end wird der Wolifaden
abge
schnitten
und die
zuvor gespannten
Wollfàden
mit Zickzackstichen oder mit
der
Elastiknaht übernäht (Abb,
0).
Bitte
beachten Sie, daB die Stichreihen
nicht
zu dicht nebeneinander liegen, da
sonst die Stopfstelle zu hart wird.
Die oben beschriebenen Arbeitsgange
werden auf der linken
Seite
genaht. Die
Stopfstelle sieht dadurch von rechts
schöner
aus.

the wool thread under
the darninç
foot.
Start
at
the
top
left
and place the
wool
thread back and forth
across the
damaged area (Fig. N).
Then
cut the wool thread
and sew over
the rows of wool
thread with zigzag
stitches or an
elastic-stitch
seam
(Fig.
0).
Do not place
the lines of stitching
too
close
together,
as
this
would make the
darn
too hard.
All darning
work described above
is
carried
out on the reverse side
of the
fabric,
so that the darn looks
neater on
the face
side.
