Satellite list / Channel list UPGRADE procedures – Internet Webpage download

Note: You will need a USB memory stick or portable flash drive / hard disk (Removable Disk))

1. Before switching on your satellite system

2. Download the file from the webpage by left clicking on the file UPG_DG_180327.ddf

3. Open the USB stick / storage device and copy the downloaded file onto the USB stick file (Root

path / flash drive/portable hard disk (Removable Disk)) (Do not copy into a folder or Directory)

4. Making sure your satellite system is off

5. Plug the USB storage device into the receiver (Right hand side). And then turn on the Satellite

receiver.

6. On the Remote Control press the [MENU] key then looking at the left hand side of the screen

push the down arrow key [v] (Below OK Button) to highlight the ‘Tools’ Icon.

7. Press the right hand key [>] (Next to OK Button).

8. Then use down arrow key [v] (Below OK Button) to highlight the Upgrade by USB option, press

the [OK] Key.

9. Use the Left [<] and Right Key [>] (Either side of the OK Key) to set the Upgrade Mode option

to indicate ‘DDF’.

10. After the confirmation that the file name shown is correct then press “Start” to initialize the

upgrading procedure. Please refer to the three photographs below.

General

Download the upgrade file from the webpage and copy it to the root directory of a USB stick.

Connect USB, navigate receiver menu to 'Tools' > 'Upgrade by USB', set mode to 'DDF', and start.

After the upgrade, select 'Factory Setting' to refresh the satellite list data.

Power cycle the receiver after the upgrade to load the latest satellite list.
