Summary

Installation Guide

Antenna Reception

Small-screen TV sets use an indoor antenna; reception may be improved by rotating it or using an external antenna.

Power Connection

Plug your television into the mains supply (220-240 V / 50 Hz).

Battery Installation

Insert the two LR03 type batteries (supplied) making sure that they are the right way round.

TV Power On

To switch on the TV set, press the on/off button. If the TV set remains in standby mode: press the P keys on the remote control.

Channel Search and Manual Store

Initiate Installation Menu

The INSTALLATION menu is displayed on the screen.

Access Manual Store

The MANUAL STORE menu appears.

System Selection

Option only available on certain versions. Press key until required system appears: FRANCE (SECAM L L') or EUROPE (PAL BG, SECAM BG).

Perform Channel Search

SEARCHING appears, the search bar shows progress. When a programme is found, the number flashes.

Enter Programme Number

Enter the programme number you want. Note: Programme number 0 cannot be used.

Store Programme

STORED appears, the programme is stored. Repeat steps 4 to 6 to store each programme.

AutoStore Method

Select Installation and AutoStore

Press keys to select INSTALLATION menu, then AUTOSTORE menu.

System Choice for AutoStore

Select system (FRANCE or EUROPE) for AutoStore.

Run AutoStore

Run AutoStore for all programmes; SEARCHING appears and lasts several minutes.

Renumber Programmes

After search, programmes are arranged by number. Renumber them as needed.

Remote Control Functions

Standby Control

Press button to switch TV off (red light). Press P keys to turn on.

Programme Selection

Use P/ keys to select previous/next programme. Number is displayed.

Numbered Keys

Select programmes using number keys. Enter 2-digit numbers before line disappears.

Volume and Mute

Adjust volume with +/- keys. Mute switches sound on or off.

Menu Adjustments

Modify menu items like volume, brightness, contrast, colour, and timer.

Storing Adjustments

Display menu, press keys to store adjustments. STORED appears.

Personal Preferences

Recall your stored adjustments.

Screen Info Display

Turn on or off display of programme number and timer.

Sound Mode

Function not available.

Teletext Functions

Teletext Request

Turn teletext on or off. A main index appears with accessible items.

Selecting Teletext Pages

Use number keys to select desired page (three figures). Page number appears at top left.

Navigating Teletext Pages

Use P/ keys to select the previous or next page.

Stopping Sub-pages

Certain pages have sub-pages that follow automatically. Press key to stop/resume sequence.

Enlarging Teletext Page

Press button several times to view upper, lower parts, and return to normal size.

Hidden Teletext Information

Reveal hidden information (e.g., in games). Press button again to hide.

TV Set Keys

Key Configuration

TV sets have 3 or 4 keys, sometimes behind a flap. Key functions vary by model.

Connecting Other Appliances

Euroconnector Socket

Use the euroconnector socket at the back for connected appliances. Press key for AV input.

Headphone Connection

Headphone socket on front. Connecting headphones mutes TV sound. Use remote for volume.

Do not place items on TV; ensure 5 cm space around appliance for ventilation and safety.
