WEAK BGT (Weak Signal Brightness): Adjusts the brightness level of the Smart Picture ”WEAK
SIGNAL“ setting.
WEAK COL (Weak Signal Color): Adjusts the color level of the Smart Picture ”WEAK SIGNAL“ setting.
WEAK PIC (Weak Signal Picture): Adjusts the contrast level of the Smart Picture ”WEAK SIGNAL“
setting.
WEAK SHP (Weak Signal Sharpness): Adjusts the sharpness level of the Smart Picture ”WEAK
SIGNAL“ setting.
WEAK HUE (Weak Signal Hue): Adjusts the tint level of the Smart Picture ”WEAK SIGNAL“ setting.
MULTI BGT (Multi Media Brightness): Adjusts the brightness level of the Smart Picture ”MULTI MEDIA“
setting.
MULTI COL (Multi Media Color): Adjusts the color level of the Smart Picture ”MULTI MEDIA“ setting.
MULTI PIC (Multi Media Picture): Adjusts the contrast level of the Smart Picture ”MULTI MEDIA“
setting.
MULTI SHP (Multi Media Sharpness): Adjusts the sharpness level of the Smart Picture ”MULTI MEDIA“
setting.
MULTI HUE (Multi Media Hue): Adjusts the tint level of the Smart Picture ”MULTI MEDIA“ setting.
5. Use the Menu Up/Down keys to highlight an item in the SMART SET adjustments screen.
6. Use the Menu Left key to decrease the value of the highlighted item.
7. Use the Menu Right key to increase the value of the highlighted item.
8. Although the Smart Picture key on the remote control is functional while the set is in SAM, the name of
the Smart Picture setting (MOVIES, SPORTS, etc.) will not be displayed onscreen in SAM mode.
Therefore, it may be necessary to exit SAM to check the SMART SET adjustments.
9. When finished with adjustments, or if no changes are required, press the Menu button to return to the
ALIGNMENTS sub-menu.
VG2 Adjustment:
1. From the ALIGNMENTS sub-menu, highlight VG2 by pressing the Menu Up/Down keys on the remote
control.
2. When VG2 is activated, the software will switch off vertical scan so a horizontal line is displayed on the
screen. This can be a useful tool when replacing a yoke or adjusting convergence.
3. To activate VG2, press the Menu Left or Menu Right key.
4. To deactivate VG2, press the Menu Left or Menu Right key again.
5. When finished with adjustments, or if no changes are required, press the Menu button to return to the
ALIGNMENTS sub-menu.
