Before the first measurement
1 Remove the protective foil from the
display.

2 Open the battery compartment and place
2 AAA (LR03) batteries in the
compartment.

3 Make sure the + and - poles are pointing in
the right direction.
Push the + pole in first.
Measuring the blood pressure
Conditions for accurate blood
pressure measurement
◗ Sit down and relax for 10 minutes before you
use the blood pressure monitor.Breath deeply
in and out five times before you start
measuring.
◗ Wait at least 3 minutes between 2
measurements to avoid incorrect readings due
to the temporary congestion of the arteries.
◗ Perform the measurement every day at the
same time,since your blood pressure
fluctuates in the course of the day.
◗ Do not eat,smoke or drink before you
measure your blood pressure.Alcoholic
beverages in particular will influence the
measurement.
◗ Do not attach too much importance to the
results of a single measurement.Performing
