7.1 Introduction
The Q548.1E LB chassis (platform name TV543/82) is a
derivative from the Q548.1E LA chassis.
Main differences with the previous chassis are the application
of:
• an “edge-lit” LCD panel
• a temperature sensor for temperature control
• an FSP dual Power Supply Unit.
The sets are equipped with Ambilight.
Only the Power Supply Units are described in this chassis. For
all other circuitry, refer to the Q548.1E LA Service Manual.
7.1.1 Implementation
Key components of this chassis are:
• PNX8543 Digital Colour Decoder
• HD1816AF Hybrid Tuner
• DRX3926K Demodulator
• TDA9996 HDMI Switch
• TPA3123D2PWP Class D Power Amplifier
• PNX5120 Video Back-End Processor.
