Connect the antenna cable from the TV/Satellite Receiver to the DVD recorder's ANTENNA input socket.
Connect the DVD recorder's TV output socket to the TV's antenna input socket using the supplied cable.
Connect the DVD recorder's EXT 1 TO TV-I/O socket to the TV's SCART socket.
Connect the DVD recorder's MAINS power cable to the power supply.
Press STANDBY-ON to switch on the recorder and select the correct video input channel on the TV.
Select the on-screen display language and your country of residence.
Select the correct TV screen display format (e.g., 4:3 or 16:9).
Initiate automatic TV channel search to find and store all available channels.
Check and correct the time and date settings if they are not accurate.
Select 'Done' to save the changes and complete the initial setup process.
Insert a recordable DVD+R(W) with the label side facing up.
Press TUNER, then use arrow keys to select the desired programme number.
Choose a recording mode that defines picture quality and maximum recording time per disc.
Press RECORD to start recording or press twice for 30-minute increments.
Press PAUSE to pause recording and RECORD to continue.
Press STOP to end the recording process and wait for the message to disappear.
Insert a disc with the label side facing up to begin playback.
Respond to prompts or navigate disc menus using remote control buttons.
Press STOP to end the playback session.
Press TUNER and use arrow keys to select the desired TV programme number.
Press EDIT, select 'Finalise' from the menu, and press OK to start the process.
