If your Philips TV displays power but no image, ensure that the 'Picture Off' mode hasn't been activated by pressing the 'OK' button on your remote. Also, verify that the connection for your source device is properly secured and the correct input is selected by pressing the input button on your remote. If your Philips TV has a slow data connection or is buffering, check the settings between your router and ISP modem or gateway (if applicable). Why does my Philips TV take so long to start?
    • R
      Roberta SmithAug 31, 2025
If your Philips TV takes a long time to start up, it might be due to the TV being powered off into Low Power Standby. When powering off the TV into Low Power Standby, there will be a longer load time when powering it back on. Press and hold the power button for 1 second or more to go into Low Power Standby. Pressing the power button for less than 1 second will put the TV into Quick Start Standby, which will have a quicker boot time when powering back on.

Why is my Philips TV remote delayed when I first use it?
    • A
      Alex KaufmanSep 2, 2025
If the remote response on your Philips TV is delayed or sluggish during initial use, it may be because your TV is automatically downloading and installing the latest applications for the best user experience. During this time, you may experience a delayed response from your remote.
