Overview

This document describes the Philips AJ6200D (White) and AJ6200DB (Black) clock radio, a versatile device designed to provide audio entertainment, alarm functions, and charging capabilities for compatible Apple devices.

Function Description

The Philips clock radio serves as a multi-functional audio system with an integrated dock for iPod/iPhone, an FM radio tuner, and an auxiliary audio input. Its primary functions include:

    • To install batteries: Open the battery compartment, insert batteries with correct polarity (+/-), and close the compartment.
    • Caution: Batteries contain chemical substances and should be disposed of properly. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types. Remove batteries if the unit is not used for a long time.

  • Ventilation: Ensure there is enough free space around the product for proper ventilation.
  • Environmental Protection: Keep the clock radio away from direct sunlight, naked flames, or heat. Do not expose it to dripping or splashing liquids.
  • Antenna Adjustment: For better FM radio reception, fully extend and adjust the position of the FM antenna. Position the antenna as far as possible from other electronic devices (TV, VCR, etc.) to avoid radio interference.
  • Cleaning: Never remove the casing of the clock radio. Do not lubricate any part of the clock radio.
  • Troubleshooting: In case of issues, check basic connections and settings (power, batteries, alarm settings, antenna). If problems persist, refer to the Philips support website.
  • Disposal: The product is designed with recyclable materials. Observe local regulations for the disposal of packaging materials, exhausted batteries, and old equipment. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with normal household waste.
