Read instructions carefully before use and save for future reference. Check voltage, connections, and cords.
Set temperature dial based on fabric care labels (linen, cotton, wool, nylon, silk).
Ensure water is present. Select temperature and steam setting (1-3 moderate, 4-6 strong steam).
Automatically switches off iron if not moved for a while.
Fill tank, set steam to 0, select max temp, plug in, hold calc-clean button over sink.
Check connection, temperature dial, water level, and steam control settings.
Address issues with shot-of-steam frequency, iron heat, and filling cap closure.
Use calc-clean for flakes; move iron slightly to reset safety shut-off functions.
