digital
connections

For
recording
and
playing
(using
a
suitable
fibre-optic
cable,
available
from
your
supplier)
connect
the
CD-Recorder
to
a
digital
amplifier
(with
optical
connections)
based
on
the
diagram
below.
To
do
so,
remove
the
dust
caps
from
the
digital
optical
connections.
We
recommend
that
you
save
the
caps.
Note:
-
Direct
recording
can
also
be
made
from
another
digital
source
with
optical
connections,
such
as
a
CD
player,
DCC
recorder,
DAT
recorder
or
digital
satellite
receiver.
-
For
playing,
the
optical
digital
output
(42)
on
the
CD-Recorder
must
be
connected
to
the
digital
input
on an
amplifier.
