tape
will
then
run
at
the
normal
speed
(4.76
cm/s).

stereo
can
be
nade
with
this
recorder.
Sound
on
sound
enables
you
to
dub
a
second
recording
on
a
recorded
cassette,
e.g.
for
dubbing
a
commentary
ina
live
recording.
This
facility
can
be
useful
for
an
audio-visual
slide
presentation.
Similar
systems
are
already
known
in
sound
film
projectors,
but
this
sound
on
sound
system
isanew
feature
in
a
stereo
cassette
recorder.

(when

desired
counter
reading

reached),
the
sound

sound
control

is
turned
fully
anti-clockwise
until
a
click
is
heard.
The
recorder
then
switches
to
stop
mode.

In
the
same
way
as
described
above,
it
is
possible
to
fade-out
undesired
applause,
announcements
or
other
undesired
parts
of
a
recording.
Proceed
for
this
purpose
as
under
’sound
on
sound’,
however
without
dubbing‘a
second
record-
ing.
This
is
done
by
setting
the
recording
selector
switch
@
to
‘MAN’
and
the
recording
level
controls
@3
at
‘min’.
When
control
@
is
turned
fully
clockwise,
the
original
recording
will
be
erased
completely.
Note:
Caré
should
be
taken
that
during
normal
recordings
the
sound
on
sound
control
(7)
is
always
turned
fully
anti-clockwise
(’OFF’
position):
GENERAL
REMARKS
@
COMPACT
CASSETTES:
Both
ends
of
the
tape
are
attached
to
the
reel
hubs
by
a
length
of
leader
tape.
Take
this
into
account:
nothing
is
recorded!
for
about
6
to
7
seconds
at
the
beginning
and
also
at
_
the
end
of
the
cassette.
You
can
prevent
accidental
erasure
of
recordings
by
breaking
out
the
small
flap
at
the
left-hand
corner
at
the
back
of
the
cassette
(Fig.
5).
After
this,
no
recordings
can
be
made
on
this
side
of
the
cassette.
You
may
cancel
this
prevention
wth
a
piece
of
adhesive
tape.

COUNTER:
When
setting
counter
@) to
000
with
zero-reset
button
(2),
after
inserting
a
cassette
and
when
noting
the
counter
reading
at
which
each
recording
starts,
you
will
later
be
able
to
locateyour
recordings
easily.
