Preparing for use
Hose
1 Toconnectthehose,pushitrmlyintotheappliance(‘click’)(Fig.4).
2 Todisconnectthehose,pushthebuttonsandpullthehoseoutoftheappliance(Fig.5).
1 Toconnectthetubetothehandgrip,pressthespring-loadedlockbuttononthehandgrip(1)
andinsertthehandgripintothetube.Fitthespring-loadedlockbuttonintotheopeningin
thetube(‘click’)(2)(Fig.6).
- To disconnect the tube from the handgrip, press the spring-loaded lock button and pull the
handgrip out of the tube.
2 Adjustthetubetothelengthyoundmostcomfortableduringvacuuming.Pressoneofthe
twocollarsdownwardsandpullthetubepartabovethecollarupwardsorpushit
downwards(Fig.7).
1 Toconnectthetubetothehandgrip,insertthehandgripintothetube.Fitthespring-loaded
lockbuttonintotheopeninginthetube(‘click’)(Fig.8).
- To disconnect the tube from the handgrip, press the easy-release button (1) and pull the
handgrip out of the tube (2) (Fig. 9).
2 Adjustthetubetothelengthyoundmostcomfortableduringvacuuming(Fig.10).
Nozzles and accessories
1 Toconnectanozzleoranaccessorytothetube,pressthespring-loadedlockbutton(1)on
thetubeandinsertthetubeintothenozzleoraccessory(2).Fitthespring-loadedlock
buttonintotheopeninginthenozzleoraccessory(‘click’)(Fig.11).
Note: You can also connect the nozzles and accessories directly to the handgrip in the same way.
2 Todisconnectthenozzleoranaccessoryfromthetube,pressthespring-loadedlockbutton
andpullthenozzleoutofthetube.
The TriActive nozzle is a multi-purpose nozzle for carpets and hard oors.
- The side brushes catch more dust and dirt at the sides of the nozzle and allow you to clean
better along furniture and other obstacles (Fig. 12).
- The opening at the front of the nozzle allows you to vacuum larger particles (Fig. 13).

The combination nozzle can be used on either carpets or hard oors.
