obtained

phonic

The
surround
sound
effect
can
increase
noise
in
the
case
of
weaker
FM
stations.
SYSTEM
POWER
OFF/STANDBY
Press
SYSTEM

switch
on
the
power.
The
system
will
enter
the
standby
mode.
The
tuner
display
shows
the
current
day
and
time
and
the
red
indicator
on
VOLUME
5
will
light
up.
Press
SYSTEM
POWER
OFF/STANDBY

again
to
switch
off
the
power.
STANDBY
_
The
standby
mode
is
a
kind
of
sleeping
mode.
It
is
possible
to
wake
up
(a
part
of)
the
system
by
pressing
a
source
selection
button
on
the
remote
control
or
on
the
amplifier.
Wake-up
from
standby:
There
are
several
options
to
wake
the
system
up
from
standby:
Select
a
source
on
the
amplifier
by
pressing
DCC
10.
The
amplifier
and
the
(optional)
DCC
recorder
will
wake
up
from
standby.
Select
a
source
on
the
remote
control
by
pressing
a
source
selection
key
for
less
than
1
second.
Only
the
selected
source
wakes
up
from
standby,
the
amplifier
stays
in
stand-
by.
Select
a
source
on
the
remote
control
by
pressing
a
source
selection
key
for
longer
than
1
second
Both
the
selected
source
and
the
amplifier
will
wake
up.
Notes:
~
When
the
tuner
is
selected
it
will
always
wake
up
both
the
tuner
and
the
amplifier,
even
if
the
tuner
select
key
is
pressed
for
less
than
1
second.
-
It
is
also
possible
to
wake
up
the
units
by
pressing
defined
wake-up
keys
on
the
units
(see
the
descriptions
of
the
units).
Putting
(part
of)
the
system
in
standby
To
put
the
whole
system
into
the
standby
mode,
press
the
STANDBY
button
on
the
remote
control
for
longer
than
1
second.
The
display
of
the
tuner
will
switch
to
low
bright¬
ness;
the
other
displays
will
be
switched
off.
The
red
indica¬
tor
on
the
volume
knob
will
not
go
out.
To
put
a
selected
unit
into
standby
mode:
press
the
source
selection
key
for
less
than
1
second
and
press
the
STANDBY
button
on
the
remote
control
also
for
less
than
1
second.
The
display
of
the
selected
unit
will
be
switched
off.
If
the
selected
set
is
also
the
source
that
is
being
listened
to,
the
whole
system
will
be
put
in
standby.
Note:
-
It
is
possible
to
put
the
whole
system
into
the
standby
mode
if
PHONO
is
selected
as
a
source,
but
it
is
not
possible
to
put
just
a
record
player
into
standby
mode.
BALANCE
CONTROL
_
It
is
possible
to
adjust
the
stereo
balance
between
the
left
and
right
channels
with
BALANCE
L(eft)
or
R(ight)
on
the
remote
control.
Press
one
of
the
balance
keys
on
the
remote
control
to
select
the
balance
mode.
The
display
shows
the
current
set¬
ting.
Press
BALANCE
L(eft)
or
R(ight)
on
the
remote
control
to
adjust
the
stereo
balance.
There
are
8
positions
to
the
left
and
8
positions
to
the
right.
The
setting
is
changed
one
position
every
time
one
of
the
BALANCE
buttons
is
pressed.
Press
a
source
selection
button
to
leave
the
balance
mode.
The
balance
mode
is
left
automatically
when
no
balance
adjustments
are
made
for
20
seconds.
This
control
is
shown
graphically
on
the
equalizer
display
as
illustrated
below
(leftmost,
middle
and
rightmost
position)

system

GREETING
_
After
language
selection
or
when
you
wake
up
the
system,
it
wishes
you,
depending
on
the
time.
Good
Morning,
Good
Afternoon
or
Good
Evening
in
the
chosen
language.
When
no
time
is
available,
the
system
greeting
is
Hello.
