Symptom:
CD
does
not
function
due
to
dust
collection
on
the
CD
lens.
When
cleaning
disc
is
used,
it
merely
moves
the
dust
into
the
chamber
in
which
the
CD
lens
is mounted.
Fault:
The problem is due to the air circulation within the set.
Solution:
The
problem
is
solved
by
mounting
a
dust
cover
over
the
CD
lens
area
as
shown
in
Figure
1
(For
sets
without
transformer
shield)
and
Figure
2
(For
sets
with
transformer
shield).

the

cover
is
