Basic function
IMPORTANT!
Before you operate the system,
complete the preparation procedures.
Switching the system on
● Press STANDBY ON 2or SOURCE.
➜ The system will switch to the last selected
source.
● Press DISC, TUNER, TAPE or AUX on the
remote control.
➜ The system will switch to the selected source.
Switching the system to Standby
mode
● Press STANDBY ON 2 in the active mode.
➜ The backlight of display is dim in standby.
● The volume level, interactive sound setting, last
selected mode, source and tuner presets will be
retained in the player’s memory.
Power-saving automatic standby
● As a power-saving feature, the system will
automatically switch to standby mode if you do
not press any buttons within 30 minutes after a
disc or tape has stopped playing.
Demonstration mode
The system has a demonstration mode that
shows various features offered by the system.
Activating demonstration
● In Standby , press and hold STOP to activate
demo mode.
➜ “DEMO ON” is displayed.
➜ Demonstration will begin.
Deactivating demonstration
● Press and hold STOP on the system ,or press
DISC key, or press STANDBY ON key, until
“DEMO OFF” is displayed.
➜ The system will switch to DISC mode.
Note:
– Even if you remove the AC power cord and
reconnect it to the wall socket, the demonstration
will remain off until you activate it again.
