Read instructions carefully, check voltage, use earthed socket, avoid damaged cord, never leave unattended, keep away from children.
Remove protective covers. Initial use may produce smoke which will cease after a short while.
Filling the water tank with tap water and setting the correct ironing temperature based on fabric care labels.
Ensure sufficient water, select appropriate temperature, and choose a steam setting (1-4) suitable for the temperature.
