To enable PMS integration on the TV side you need to set [Professional menu][Guest
Management][PMS][Default Dashboard PMS] to [On] and [Professional menu][ Wireless and
Networks][Control TV over IP][PMSService] to [On]
8.8.2 Clearing personal data
When CMND&Check-In is enabled on a TV the user data behavior can also be changed to accommodate
for this. Meaning that instead of the personal information being cleared every time the TV goes to
standby or switches on you can now clear the user data based on check-in/checkout.
This can be changed in [Professional menu][Guest Management][Clear User Data]. When setting this
to [CheckIn and CheckOut] the guest will keep the settings in TV until the duration of her/his stay (until
checkout is done.
Depending on the features enabled on CMND and the features that the Hotel’s PMS system supports
you can unlock several additional features in the TV.
8.8.3 Greeting guest
The first one might be small but it can address the guest entering the room personally. You can add
the name of the person checking in to the Dashboard.
Note: Showing the guest name can also be done inside the SmartInfo pages.
8.8.4 Bill
In case the Hotel’s PMS allows it and CMND is configured to show the Bill information, the guest will
see an added icon on the top of the Dashboard.
When clicking on the Bill icon the guest will actively check the Hotel’s PMS system for the bill
information available for her/his specific room.
The guest will then receive onscreen an overview of her/his current balance. The currency on the bill
can be changed in the settings in CMND.
