Idleadjustment (03_26, 03_27, 03_28, 03_29)
To adjust idle speed it is necessary to operate the idle set screw «A » located in the
carburettor. To carry out this adjustment :
VERSION 125 - Lift the saddle, remove the rubber cover «B» and use a Phillips
screwdriver.
VERSION 200 - Remove the spark plug inspection door and operate the screws with
the specific spanner supplied.
Adjust the idle speed with the rear wheel off the ground (vehicle on stand) and with a
warm engine: undo or tighten the screw until the engine idles smoothly, i.e. without
the rear wheel being moved by the engine. If adjustment still proofs difficult, contact
an Authorised Piaggio Service Centre.
CAUTION
WHEN ADJUSTING IDLE SPEED, BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH HOT PARTS OF
THE ENGINE TO AVOID BURNS.
