      If your PianoDisc Recording Equipment isn't turning on, there are a couple of things to check: * Make sure the main power switch located under the piano is turned on. * Verify that the unit is properly plugged in by checking all power cord connections.

      If the piano does not play, even though the front display indicates playback, consider these possible causes: 1. The MIDI cables are not connected properly. Solution: Make sure a cable connects TO PIANO on the control unit to CONTROL UNIT on the CPU interface. 2. The MUTE function has been turned on (indicated on display). Solution: Turn off the muting OR engage the DEFAULT settings. 3. PIANO OUT has been switched off. Solution: Make sure PIANO OUT is on. 4. The piano part may be disabled. Solution: Press default on Page 2.

      If not all of the songs on the disk are being played, there are a couple of reasons: * The songs are being played according to the diskette’s producer track. To solve this, press PRODUCER, and then press [CANCEL] to play the disk normally. * SHUFFLE mode had been selected. To solve this, turn the SHUFFLE mode off.

      If there is no change in loudness (symphony or piano) when VOLUME is adjusted, the BALANCE setting is too far toward symphony (S) or piano (P). To fix it, bring the BALANCE back toward 50%.

      If the piano and symphony parts sound out of sync, the parts need to be aligned. Adjust SYNC until the parts line up. Generally the lower the VOLUME is set, the higher the SYNC should be set.
