This document serves as the Technical & Service Manual for PIONEER Central Split Air Conditioners, specifically High Efficiency Air Handlers. It provides comprehensive information for the installation, operation, and maintenance of these units.
Function Description:
The PIONEER High Efficiency Air Handler is a central split air conditioning indoor unit designed for both cooling and heating applications. It is equipped with a multi-speed ECM blower motor and a TXV (Thermal Expansion Valve) metering device to support efficient temperature control. The unit is designed to work as part of a 1:1 system, meaning one indoor unit connects to one outdoor unit. Optional electric heater kits can be selected to enhance heating capabilities. The air handler is built to meet high efficiency standards, achieving up to 18 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) and up to 0.8 W.C ESP (External Static Pressure), and is in accordance with ETL AHRI certifications.
