Switching on and
setting the clock
You should now have your system installed with
everything connected up and plugged in. After
switching on, the first thing to do is to set the clock.
This only needs to be done once (unless all power
to the unit is cut) and will enable you to use the
timer features.
Use the front panel controls to do this.
Press STANDBY/ON.
¢ Pressing again switches the unit back into
standby mode.
Press TIMER/CLOCK AD}.
Turn the JOG dial until CLK ADJ (clock
adjust) appears in the display.
If this is the first time you've switched on the unit,
CLK AD} should already be displayed
Press SET.
Turn the JOG dial to select 12 or 24
hour clock format.
This setting affects the clock and timer setting
displays. Choose the format you prefer.
Press SET.
Use the JOG dial to set the hour.
Press SET.
Use the JOG dial to set the minute.
10 Press SET to finish.
© Press DISPLAY MODE (front panel) or
DISPLAY (remote) anytime to show the current
time. The display will revert to its previous state
after about five seconds.
Tip
There are a number of buttons other than
STANDBY/ON which will switch the unit on.
Pressing any of the function select buttons (CD,
TUNER/BAND, TAPE 1/11, AUX) when the unit
is in standby mode will turn the unit on and switch
to that function.

réglage de l’horloge
Votre systéme est & présent installé, et tous les
composants doivent étre raccordés et branchés.
Apres avoir allumé le systéme, i] faut en premier
lieu régler 'horloge. Cette opération ne se fait
qu'une seule fois (sauf en cas de coupure de
l'alimentation), et vous pourrez par la suite utiliser
le programmateur.
Utilisez les commandes du panneau avant pour
effectuer ce réglage.
Appuyez sur STANDBY/ON.
© Si vous enfoncez 4 nouveau cette touche,
l'unité reprend fe mode de veille.
2 Appuyez sur TIMER/CLOCK AD}.
3 Tournez la manette JOG jusqu’a ce
que CLK AD] (réglage de I’horloge)
s'affiche.
Si vous allumez l’unité pour la premiere fois,
CLK ADJ doit étre déja affiché.
4 Appuyez sur SET.
Tournez la manette JOG pour
sélectionner le format 12 heures ou
24 heures.
Cette mise au point affecte le réglage de I’horloge et
du programmateur. Choisissez le format que vous
préférez.
Appuyez sur SET.
Utilisez la manette JOG pour régler les
heures.
Appuyez sur SET.
Utilisez la manette JOG pour régler les
minutes.
10 Appuyez sur SET pour terminer
Vopération.
Appuyez sur DISPLAY MODE (panneau
frontal) ou DISPLAY (télécommande) pour
afficher |"heure. L’affichage retourne a son état
précédent au bout d’environ cing secondes.
Avis
Il y aun nombre de touches autres que
STANDBY/ON qui allumeront I'unité.
Lunité se mettra sous tension et passera a cette
fonction en appuyant sur n’importe quelle touche
de sélection de fonction(CD, TUNER/BAND,
TAPE I/ft, AUX)alors que |'unité est en mode
d'attente.
