Be
sure
that
you
have
been ~l~oroughly
checked
out
before
op-
eraiing
this
aircraft.
The
following
safety
procedure
instructions
must
become
an
-k-
tegral
part
of
the
aircraft
owner$
operational
routine
and/or
pre-
flight
inspection.
Before
each
flight,
visually
inspect
tho
airplane,
and/or
deter-
mine-
that:
(1)
The
tires
are
setiafaclorily
inflated
and
not
exces~iiveiy
worn.
(2)
Tha
landing
gear
oleos
and
shock
struts
operate
within
Urnits.
(3)
The
propellers
are
free
of
detrimental
nicks.
(4&)
The
ground
area-
under
propeller
is
free
of
loose
stones,
cindere,
etc.
(5)
The
cowling
md
inspection
opening
covers
are.
sec&
6
There
is
no
external
damage
or
operational
interference
to
the
control
surfaces,
wings
or
fuselage.

The
windshield
is
clean
and
free
of
defects.
(8)
There
is
no
snow,
ice
or
frost
on
the
wings
or
contra1
surfaces.

(9)
.The
tow-bar
and
control
Iocks
are
detached
and
properly
stowed.
(10)
The
Zuel
tanka
are
full
or
are
at
a
safe
level
of
proper
fuel.
(11)
The
fuel.
tank
caps
are
tight.
(12)
The
fuel
system
vents
are
open.
(13)
The
fuol
strainers
and
fuel
lines
are
iree
of
wat&
and
sediment
by
draiaiag
all
he1
strainers
once
a
day.

The
fuel
tanks
and
carburetor
bowla
are
free
of
water
and
sediment
by
draining
sumps
once
a
week.
