Why is the bottom of my Pizzacraft PizzaQue PC7001 pizza cooking too fast?
    • P
      Phyllis HenryJul 27, 2025
The bottom of your pizza might be cooking too quickly because the stone is too hot or there are coals under the stone. To fix this, use an aluminum screen or pizza peel under the pizza. Ensure all coals are placed outside the charcoal fence in a U-shape at the back of your kettle grill. Also, check the underside of the pizza 1-2 minutes after it is in the oven to ensure the stone isn’t getting too hot.

What to do if Pizzacraft PizzaQue PC7001 Grill oven is not hot enough?
    • R
      Robert ChristensenAug 3, 2025
If your Pizzacraft Grill oven isn't hot enough, it might be due to improper preheating, not enough fuel, or wind pulling heat away. Ensure you are following the preheating instructions. If that doesn't work, remove the kettle lid using heat-safe gloves and add more unlit charcoal on top of the lit coals, wait for the smoke to dissipate, then replace the hood. Protect the grill from the wind.

What to do if dough is sticking to the Pizzacraft PizzaQue PC7001 pizza peel?
    • W
      Wendy MurrayAug 10, 2025
If the dough is sticking to the pizza peel, it could be due to insufficient flour or cornmeal, or the uncooked pizza sitting on the peel for too long. Dust the pizza peel with plenty of flour or cornmeal to prevent sticking. If using an aluminum peel and the pizza sticks, leave the peel and pizza in the grill for at least 1 minute to release the dough, then pull out the peel. You can also try using a wood pizza peel for constructing the pizza.

Why is the bottom of my Pizzacraft Grill pizza not cooking fast enough?
    • K
      Kevin GonzalezAug 18, 2025
If the bottom of your pizza isn't cooking fast enough, the pizza stone might not be hot enough. Let the grill continue to preheat for another 5-10 minutes. If that doesn't help, remove the lid using a heat-safe glove, add more coals, let the smoke dissipate, replace the kettle lid, and try again.
