5. Press the « DRYING » - BUTTON repeatedly until the desired drying programme is
indicated on the time display (s. below). You can dry laundry in two ways:
automatically or for a set period of time.
a. AUTO-DRYING: if you want the drying time to be automatically adjusted to
the laundry to be dried (depending on the quantity and moisture of the
laundry), select AUTO-DRYING. The time display indicates « AUTO ». The
automatic drying programme is activated.
b. TIME-DRYING: if you want to dry the laundry for a set period of time, press
the « DRYING » - BUTTON repeatedly until the desired drying period is
indicated on the time display. The settable drying periods are:
30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 / 210 / 240 minutes. The drying programme by
time is activated. Please select an appropriate drying period. If the drying
period is too short, the laundry will not be dried completely.
6. The operational status indicator of the drying function « » goes on.
7. Press the « START / PAUSE » - BUTTON to start the set drying programme.
8. The door lock will be activated automatically. The operational status indicator
of the door lock « » goes on.
9. When the drying programme is finished, the display indicates « END » and an
acoustic signal sounds.
10. The door lock is deactivated automatically after approx. 2 minutes. The
operational status indicator of the door lock « » goes off.
11. Switch off the appliance using the « ON / OFF » - BUTTON (see also chapter 5.5
END OF A WASHING / DRYING PROGRAMME).
12. Close the water tap.
It is possible that the current run time of the selected drying programme (AUTO-
DRYING ONLY) will be adjusted automatically so that it may vary from the drying
time which is indicated on the display.
HOW TO SET AND START A COMBINED PROGRAMME (WASHING + DRYING)
1. Ensure that the laundry to be washed and dried is suitable for washing in a
washing machine and for drying in a tumble dryer. Always observe the textile
labels!
2. Put the laundry in the drum.
3. Fill the detergent(s) into the relevant sections of the dispenser according to the
desired programme.
4. Open the water tap!
5. Switch on the appliance using the « ON / OFF » - BUTTON. The appliance is now
switched on and in STANDBY MODE.
6. Set a programme suitable for the laundry to be washed using the
« PROGRAMME » - BUTTON (e.g., COTTON). Press the « PROGRAMME » - BUTTON
