8.3 Residual water drainage
WARNING! Ensure before residual water drainage that the water has
cooled down completely. RISK OF SCALDING! RISK OF BURNS!
HOW TO DRAIN THE RESIDUAL WATER VIA THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER
1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Flap the cover panel of the drain pump filter downwards.
3. Place a container in front of the opening.
4. Open the drain pump filter, but do not remove it completely. Rotate the drain
pump filter in anti-clockwise direction until the water begins to run.
5. Wait until the water has drained completely.
6. Unscrew the drain pump filter completely and remove it.
7. Carefully tilt the appliance forward so the water can be drained.
8. Insert the drain pump filter and screw it in as far as possible in clockwise direction.
9. Check that the drain pump filter is installed properly.
10. Install the cover panel properly.
HOW TO DRAIN THE RESIDUAL WATER VIA THE WATER DRAINPIPE

1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Flap the cover panel (A) of the drain pump filter (C) downwards (s. fig. below).
3. Place a container (D) in front of the opening (s. fig. below).
4. Release the water drainpipe (E).
5. Place the end (E 1) of the water drainpipe (E) in the container (D / see fig. below).
6. Remove the plug (F) of the water drainpipe (turn carefully until it comes off the
water drainpipe / see fig. below).
7. Wait until the water has drained off completely.
8. Reinstall the plug (F) of the water drainpipe (E) properly.
