SETTING UP YOUR TRIPOD
1 Flip the leg levers (two / leg) on each leg open, extend the legs to the length
you want, then close the levers to lock the legs in place.
Caution: Incorrectly securing a leg lever can cause the tripod leg to retract
unexpectedly and could result in damage to the tripod or to the attached
camera or camcorder.
2 To adjust the height of the center column, loosen the center column stopper
knob, raise the center column to the height you want, then tighten the stopper
knob.
3 To set the angle position of a leg, press in on the tabs on the sides of the slide
brace, then pull the leg out. To put the leg back in the standard position, push
the leg back into the brace until the tabs lock into place.

Setting Up Your Tripod

Extending and Locking Legs

Open leg levers, extend legs to desired length, and close levers to secure.

Adjusting Center Column Height

Loosen stopper knob, adjust center column, then retighten knob.

Adjusting Leg Angle Position

Press slide brace tabs, pull leg out for angle, push back to lock.

Attaching Camera to Quick-Release Plate

Secure camera to the quick-release plate using the 1/4" mounting screw.

Mounting Camera to Tripod

Slide the quick-release plate into the base plate and press the lever down.

Using Your Tripod

Portrait Camera Position

Loosen side-tilt knob, rotate plate 90°, then retighten knob.

Panning Movement

Loosen pan locking knob, pan head, then tighten knob to lock.

Vertical Tilt Adjustment

Loosen tilt locking handle, adjust position, then tighten handle.

Important Safety Instructions

Leg Lock Tightness

Ensure all leg locks are correctly tightened and legs are fully opened.
