What to do if PlayMechanix Arcade Game Machines connection details show IP address but test connection reports failure?
    • P
      Paul MartinezAug 9, 2025
If your PlayMechanix Arcade Game Machines show an IP address but the test connection fails with a Database Ping or File Server Ping error, the issue might be: * A firewall blocking communication with the server. Check your firewall documentation and ensure it allows ICMP Echo. If your router has a built-in firewall, review its configuration. Enable communication on ports 80, 443, 7786, and 7787. * The Database or File Server might be down. Wait 30 minutes and check the Test Connection screen again. If the failure continues, contact CoinUp® service.

    • K
      kjarvisAug 15, 2025
If your PlayMechanix Arcade Game Machines Wi-Fi Details show 'Not Connected' even with a supported adapter plugged in, it might be because: * The Wi-Fi network information is incorrect. To fix this, run the connection wizard and select Wireless, then enter the required information. * The wireless access point or router is off or disconnected. Make sure the access point has power and is connected to the router. Try restarting the access point. Also, check that the router has power and is connected to the cable/DSL modem.

If your PlayMechanix Arcade Game Machine can't connect to the CoinUp® server and there's no IP address showing, here's what you can do: * First, check the Ethernet cables, making sure they're firmly plugged in at both ends until you hear a click. Then, reboot the game. Go to Diagnostic mode, choose Online, and then Test Connection to see if an IP address shows up followed by 'eth0'. * If that doesn't work, try plugging the Ethernet cable into a different wall jack or different jacks in the router.
