This document describes the Playtive Teepee Play Tent, a toy for children aged 2 years and up, intended for private outdoor use.

Function Description

The Playtive Teepee Play Tent is a children's play tent designed to provide a fun and safe environment for outdoor play. It features a tipi-style structure with fabric curtains that can be opened and closed, and includes a chalkboard for creative expression. The tent is designed for easy assembly by adults and is suitable for private use in outdoor settings.

Usage Features

Safety Guidelines:

Always read and follow the safety instructions before first use.
The tent is suitable for children aged 2 years and older.
It is designed exclusively for outdoor and domestic use.
Keep the tent away from fire.
Assembly: Due to small parts, assembly must be performed by an adult. Ensure that the tent and all its components are fully assembled before giving it to a child.
Packaging Materials: All packaging and fastening materials are not part of the toy and must be removed for safety reasons before children play with the tent. After assembly, remove the numbered stickers from the disassembled parts to prevent choking hazards.
Supervision: Do not leave children unattended while using the tent, as they may not be able to assess potential dangers. Use only under the direct supervision of an adult.
Play Area: Ensure no sharp or hard objects (e.g., toys) are inside the tent during use.
Personal Items: Do not wear jewelry, watches, or keys. Remove your shoes and your child's shoes, and if applicable, your glasses or your child's glasses.
Climbing Hazard: The tent is not a climbing device. Ensure that no one, especially children, pulls themselves up or climbs on the tent, as it may tip over.
Safe Play: Instruct children on safe play guidelines.
Installation Surface: Do not set up the tent on concrete, asphalt, or other hard surfaces. It should be set up on a flat, grassy area free of stones, sticks, bumps, and depressions.
Safety Distance: Maintain a minimum safety distance of 2 meters from buildings, stairs, fences, walls, water bodies, overhanging branches, clotheslines, electrical lines, and other obstacles.
Pre-use Inspection: Check the tent for damage or wear before each use. Only use the tent if it is in perfect condition. Do not use if visible or suspected damage is present.
Modifications: Do not make any modifications to the tent.

Assembly Instructions:

Adults Required: Due to its size, the tent should be assembled by at least two adults.
Tools: A suitable screwdriver (not included) is required for assembly.
Setup Location: Assemble the tent on a flat and level surface as shown in figures B-G. The back of the tent should be assembled first (Fig. D).
Component Identification: The components of the disassembled tent are numbered according to the scope of delivery (Fig. A).
Protective Surface: Use the packaging material as a base during assembly.
Grounding: Place the tent on a flat, non-slip surface.
Fabric Curtains: Tie the fabric curtains (23) and (24) to the longitudinal poles A1/B1 or A2/B2 above the horizontal wooden slats using double knots (Fig. E-F). Ensure the fabric and its ties are taut. Before each use, check the knots for tightness to prevent strangulation.
Velcro Closure: Open and close the Velcro fastener of the fabric curtain (24).
Post-assembly: Remove the numbered stickers after assembly to prevent choking hazards.

Maintenance Features

Maintenance and Inspection:

Seasonal Check: Maintain and inspect all components of your tent, especially at the beginning of each season and regularly during the usage season. An adult must regularly check the tent to prevent injuries from defective parts.
Screw Tightness: At the beginning of each season and regularly during the usage season, check that all screws are securely tightened and retighten them if necessary.
Damage: If the tent shows any defects, it must no longer be used.

Storage and Cleaning:

Storage: When not in use, always store the tent in a dry and clean place.
Cleaning: Clean the tent only with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
Cleaning Agents: NEVER clean with harsh cleaning agents.
Fabric Care: The fabric components can be washed at 30 °C on a special delicate cycle.

Disposal:

Product and Packaging: Dispose of the tent and packaging materials according to current local regulations.
Child Safety: Packaging materials, such as plastic bags, should not be left within reach of children. Store packaging materials out of reach of children.
Environmental Disposal: Dispose of products and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
Recycling Code: The recycling code identifies different materials for recycling. It consists of the recycling symbol (reflecting the recycling cycle) and a number identifying the material.
